Federal invitations: distinguish a schedule from results
Home Affairs has not published invitation totals or occupation cut-offs for the scheduled 15 October round in the material checked for this bulletin. The earlier “by 31 October” wording is superseded scheduling information, not evidence of a completed round or its size. The published outcomes still identify the earlier June round. Zeroes in an unupdated monthly table should not be presented as proof that no October invitations were issued.
Tasmania: a verified completed result
Migration Tasmania’s page, updated 29 October 2026, records 64 subclass 190 ROI invitations and 26 state-nominated subclass 491 ROI invitations. These are invitations to apply for nomination, not nominations or visa grants. Tasmania’s ROI scores use its own system and should not be presented as federal SkillSelect points.
Other jurisdictions and the limits of this check
No later completed invitation result was added for the ACT, NSW, Victoria, South Australia or the NT in this update. The ACT page identifies its latest round as 12 October. Victoria’s open 190 ROI program and other program announcements should not be relabelled as completed invitation rounds. Some official material was only partially accessible, including the South Australia homepage; absence from this bulletin is not evidence that nomination activity stopped.
Western Australia: keep unverified numbers out
The current official WA round document was not retrieved through the public source path during this check. A secondary tracker describes October activity, but its invitation figures and minimum scores have not been added as verified official results. This records a source-access limitation, not an assertion that WA did not run a round.
How readers should use the snapshot
Check the dated original source before acting. An EOI, ROI, invitation to apply for nomination, nomination, visa invitation and visa grant are separate stages. Historical scores describe particular selection events and do not guarantee selection in a future round.
